Holography

It is a fairly well-thought statement to say:
"Any diffeomorphism invariant theory of gravity with any arbitrary matter content has a dual DESCRIPTION in one lower dimension".
Notice that I used the word "description" and not a theory. Because the dual description might be totally unphysical.
